After the pre-interview process, selected candidates are contacted for an in-person interview. Before assignment, officers receive comprehensive training to understand their duties and responsibilities.

Job Duties:

• Maintain Safety
• Patrol area on foot and/or in vehicle
• Prepares Daily Activity/Incident Reports
• Works with police and emergency authorities on occasion
• Provides an alert and vigilant presence that deters crime
• Reports to work on time and is consistent in performing daily duties assigned
• Able to communicate effectively and has keen attention to detail
• Ability to work all shifts

Qualifications

• must be at least 18 years of age;
• must be a US citizen or an alien lawfully authorized to work in the US
• must be willing to take and pass a background check and drug screen
• must be physically and mentally fit to perform duties by the job

• must hold either a commissioned/noncommissioned card or certificates
• must have reliable transportation
